Lady Gaga

So I love Lady Gaga even more as of late.
Her songs just mean so much or maybe its only when you can relate to the lyrics she sings and the way she sings it. My favourite at the moment is Monster from the new album and her words cut right through me unlike any other. The words 'he ate my heart' have never been more true and I feel that although its metaphorical its the only way to describe the emptiness and numbness you feel when you have your heartbroken, the pain that isn't really there but a great heaviness that weighs you down in your chest and the way you doubt the existence of true love, they say time is the greatest healer but I doubt that. I think all that really happens is you forget slowly and then get distracted, maybe its a pain you'll carry forever without really knowing. I really do wish I could see her in concert but due to lack of funds I can't and it makes me a little but I guess she will be back and when she is I will be the first to buy a ticket. She is my hero, (I told my mum that and she looked at me as if I was going crazy lol) I quote the great Gaga: 'A career with never wake up and tell you it doesn't love you' and with that statement I must agree so that's my aim to look towards the future because although I cannot control my life completely at the moment I can have a positive impact on it and steer it in the rough direction I want it to go. For I am healthy and have no impairments that mean I am incapable and there will always be people who are worse off than me and they are the people who need help not me. I have a lot more than I could ever have dreamt of already and although I have really bad times I also have really good times. I am grateful for all my friends and family and I am aware that I am rather distant at times but thats only because I hate having to rely on others when they may need me more. Thank you though for all your support I'm fine now and I will be for a while =]
But for now I must work work work I want to do the best I can and I will try my hardest. well that was very light hearted =_= I need to stop thinking so much it cramps my style! xD

The Dress, My Dress

The Dress, My Dress

The dress it floats

So glorious

So white

So pure

… it hurts

It follows my naked body

Hugging

Engulfing

Surrounding

… my soul

Against the branches

It tears

It snags

It rips

… a whole in my heart

Protects me from

the hurts

the insecurities

the doubts

… that you bring

The dress it saves me

From falling

From stumbling

From bleeding

… each time you leave

I hold it dear

You throw it not so near

And as I cry

You bleed me dry

For I loved you

Now I love my dress

For you never loved me

And you hated the dress

with every blow

The dress loses a little more armor

The dress stains a little more

The dress develops becomes a little sore

My dress is dying

Dead

I’m left lying naked

Dead

Never have I not been able to read myself please help.

The challenge has begun...

So I told you all about my challenge, my second film was
dum dum dum...
The Unborn...

Review time:

The film generally followed a quite good story line which was good, however it was all too predictable regarding who would die and when which was really annoying because the film was quite good. The order of death also was rather obvious once the plot got going. The film did have scary bits where I found myself squinting because of the anticipation the music builds up to the moment. So there were parts where I found myself jumping slightly in my bed. much better than Friday The 13th. But again this is not a film that stopped me from sleeping nor will I be able to watch it again and feel scared the second time around. I did like the little 'Dybbuk' imagery that kept creeping up on the viewer in all manner of places.
Overall a film that makes for quite good watching.

Rating!!!
6/10

Good times! xD
